To equip the wards of Armed Forces personnel as well as of civilians residing in cantonments/ garrisons throughout the country to be creative, dynamic and useful members of society by providing an unparalleled and healthy educational environment, rendering them an opportunity to get purposeful and quality education and fostering their skills so that they may play an effective role in the progress of the country.

Achievements

  • Sheryar Wins 3rd Place in FBISE Milli Naghma Contest
    Sheryar Nasir, a 1st-year student of FG Liaquat Ali Degree College, Rawalpindi, secured 3rd position in the FBISE Milli Naghma Competition. The college administration congratulated him on his achievement.

  • Afnan Wins 1st Position in FBISE English Speech Competition
    Muhammad Afnan Abdullah, a student of FG Public School (B) Taxila, secured 1st position in the FBISE All Pakistan English Speech Competition. His outstanding performance earned him top honors among participants from across the country.

  • Sarmad Secures 3rd Place in International Essay Competition
    Muhammad Sarmad, a Class 9th student of FGPS (B) Adamjee Road, Rawalpindi, achieved 3rd place in the International Leadership Essay Competition organized by Franklin Covey Education International, USA. He also ranked among the Top 5 finalists globally in the 2025 Student Leadership Essay Contest.

  • Afifa Wins 3rd Place in FBISE Milli Naghma Contest
    Afifa, a talented student of FG Public School AMR (2nd Shift), has secured 3rd place in the FBISE Milli Naghma Competition.
    Congratulations to Afifa, her teachers, and the institution for this proud achievement!

  • Saim Tariq Won 1st Prize in Awakener Azadi Art Painting Competition 2025
    Saim Tariq, Class 9-A, FG Public School No. 2, Tariqabad Rawalpindi, won first prize in the Awakener Azadi Online Art Painting Competition 2025 with a cash award of Rs. 7,000.
    It is worth mentioning that Saim Tariq also secured 1st position in the Mark-e-Haq Art Competition, where he received a cash prize of Rs. 100,000 along with a certificate from IGT&E.

  • Azan Ali Khan Won US Westchester Junior Gold Squash Championship 2025
    Azan Ali Khan, a student of F.G. Public School Adamjee Road, Rawalpindi, won the US Westchester Junior Gold Squash Championship Under-19 held in Port Chester, New York, from 19–21 September 2025. In the final on September 21, he defeated US player Luke Howard. (Sponsered by Pakistan Army, UNSQUASHABLE, Muslim Hands Pakistan, FGPS Adamjee Road Rawalpindi).

  • Irtiqa Rasheed Won 1st Position in Awakener Azadi Online Competition 2025
    Irtiqa Rasheed, a Class 6 student of F.G. Sir Syed Public School (Girls), 2nd Shift, Rawalpindi, secured 1st position in the Awakener Azadi Online Competition 2025 (Category: National Song). She was awarded a cash prize of Rs. 7,000.

  • Raja Rahyan Ahmed Secures 1st Position in FBISE Speech Contest
    Raja Rahyan Ahmed, a second-year student, clinched first position in the FBISE Speech Contest organized to mark the 1500th birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). This achievement is a source of pride and joy for the staff, faculty, Regional Office Wah Cantt, and the FGEIs Directorate.

  • Faizan Ali Khan Shines at Chief of Air Staff Junior Squash Championship U-15
    Faizan Ali Khan, a talented student from VII-A at FGPS Adamjee Road, Rawalpindi, earned the prestigious Runner-up title at the Chief of Air Staff Junior Squash Championship U-15. The tournament took place in Peshawar from August 26 to 30, 2025.

  • FGEIs Student Tops FBISE Urdu Declamation Contest
    Muhammad Rafay Ali (Class X-A FGPS Adamjee Rd Rwp) secured 1st postion in FBISE All Pakistan Urdu Declamation held today 15.8.2025 at FBlSE lsd.(110 Students across Pakistan participated in the event)

  • FGEI Student's Participation in U-16 Asian Volleyball Championship Held in Thailand – 19 July 2025
    Wahab Abdullah, a 10th-grade student of FG MPS Wah (Session 2024–25), currently enrolled at FG Degree College (M) Wah, represented Pakistan in the U-16 Asian Volleyball Championship held in Thailand. The team successfully defeated Iran, and the student was declared the Best Middle Blocker.
    The student, along with his family, was invited to ROW and was awarded a cash prize and souvenir in recognition of his outstanding performance.

  • Azan Ali Khan Triumphs at Scottish Open Squash Championship!
    Shining student Azan Ali Khan from FGPS Adamjee Road, Rawalpindi, has won the Scottish Open Squash Championship in the Under-17 category in Scotland.

  • Ayesha Malik Wins 1st Place in Badminton at Khelta Punjab Event!
    Khelta Punjab team event match took place on November 4th, 2024. Ayesha Malik from FGPS Girls Kashmir Road, Rawalpindi, participated and secured 1st position in Badminton, winning a Cash Prize of Rs 50,000.

  • Abubakar Secures National U-18 Tennis Titles at Aitchison College!
    Abubakar, a 9th grade student from FG Public School Abid Majeed Lahore, achieved a significant milestone by winning his first National Title in both the U-18 singles and doubles tennis categories at Aitchison College Lahore on October 21, 2024.

FGEI (C/G) DTE

Federal Government Educational Institutions Directorate (Cantonments/ Garrisons) is one of the directorates of the IGT&E’s Branch that is headed by the Director General of FGEI(C/G). The administrative structure of the directorate has been changed adding three Brigadiers in total of 12 subordinating Regional Offices to uplift the administrative standard of the overall organization, and to make it the most productive institutions of Pakistan. These Regional offices are located at Peshawar, Wah, Rawalpindi, Chaklala, Kharian, Lahore, Multan, Bahawalpur, Gujranwala, Karachi, Fazaia and Quetta (Regional Offices Gujranwala, Bahawalpur, Chaklala & Fazaia are working on ad-hoc basis).

Sir Syed School and College of Special Education, Rawalpindi

Sir Syed School and College of Special Education, Rawalpindi Established in 1955, stands as one of Pakistan's premier institution for around 600 students with disabilities It provides a comprehensive range of programs, from Nursery to a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design, fostering an exclusive environment for boys and girls who are hard-of-hearing or speech-impaired. In Year 2024, the institution underwent major uplift, development and renovation initiatives led by the FGEI Directorate. This effort entirely revitalised the campus, enhancing its all academic and specialised facilities and establishing an Endowment Fund. A captivating short video illuminating these remarkable efforts has been prepared by ISPR and is being shared to showcase the Pakistan Army's contributions to society and dedication to the welfare of the people.
