PESHAWAR REGION

Established in 1975, Regional Office Peshawar is one of the oldest regions of FGEIs. It is managing 50 institutions, including 8 colleges, which are located at various parts of the Khyber Pukhtunkhwa province. 15793 students are enrolled in the FG institutions with 704 faculty members to teach them. Oldest institution of the region is FG Degree College for Boys, Peshawar Cantt which was established as a school in a Scottish Church in 1954 and upgraded as a College in 1965. Other historic institutions at Peshawar include FG Boys Public High School, FG Technical High School and FG Girls High School. The region also has institutions in Nowshera, Mardan, Kohat, Bannu, Dera Ismail Khan, Thall, Cherat, Landi Kotal, Batkhela, Warsak and Parachinar.
